9.5′ x 8′ x 3.5′. Watercourse Way rests in an urban backyard in Burlington, VT. Cut from a 44″ diameter pipe, the two steel pieces connect at the top with one strong weld and have a light and airy feeling.

Cut from 1/4″ inch steel, this piece is hanging from a large pine branch in a client’s urban setting in Burlington, VT. I used rusted chain with which I have moved heavy sculpture for 37 years. The lips, nose, eyes and ear are from drawings that I did of myself with a mirror.

A free-flying spirit in steel, this is a maquette proposal for a full scale corten steel piece for a lake or sea side site.
The broad reaching stroke could be 15 feet wide and the height around 8 feet tall.
