Sculpture 2012
Our Changing Sea
Our Changing Sea 2012 (click on link) captures a view of Lake Champlain from an eastern mountaintop in Vermont.
Installed near a third floor ICU in the Fletcher Allen Health Center in Burlington, Vermont, it reminds us of the sea change of circumstances that can accompany an illness.
The aluminum and paint sculpture is 15 feet long by 2.5 feet tall
Waterway
WATERWAY was created for an exhibit at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum in Vergennes, Vermont. Poet Daniel Lusk wrote the words on the centerpiece. I chose images recalling history of the lake and cut the panels from an antique piece of steel. The steel, with a bees wax patina, gives the triptych a feeling of an artifact. It measures 3′ x 2.5′ x 2.5″.
