Sculpture Tour 2014
The sculpture tour in late July included public and private sculptures around Burlington, Vermont. It was a benefit sponsored by Burlington City Arts and Flynndog Gallery and funds raised are used to open the time capsules at five sculpture sites in Quebec, Canada; Olso, Norway; Sendai, Japan; Hawaii, USA and Mapua, Richmond, New Zealand.
Watercourse Way, is a 10 feet tall steel piece at a private residence in Burlington.
Odyssey of Light is behind the All Saints Episcopal Church in South Burlington.
Earthdancer is a private sculpture reminiscent of old farm machinery one might find in the pastures north of Burlington, Vermont.
And lastly, is Kiss II at the Fletcher Free Library. Sculptures are to be touched and climbed whenever possible!
